The Graduate Program in Plant Biology has a single area of concentration, named Plant Biology, organized into two research lines: Patterns in Plant Biology and Processes in Plant Biology. This organization makes it possible to integrate different approaches in Botany and Plant Biology, encompassing studies on plant diversity, structure, evolution, distribution, functioning, reproduction, and interactions. These research lines bring together projects developed by faculty members and students of the Program, connecting academic training, scientific production, and the understanding of plant biodiversity.
