The Graduate Program in Plant Biology at the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia offers academic Master's and Doctoral degrees and is committed to training researchers and higher education teaching staff in plant biology.

The Program comprises a single concentration area: Plant Biology, and is structured around two research lines: Patterns in Plant Biology and Processes in Plant Biology. These lines encompass investigations into plant diversity, morphology, anatomy, systematics, distribution, ecophysiology, establishment, reproduction, and biotic and abiotic interactions.

The academic Master's degree is conferred upon completion of required coursework, research activities, and the successful defense of a dissertation. The Doctoral degree demands advanced academic training, original and independent research, qualifying examinations, and the defense of a thesis.
